Apron

January – February 2013

A handsewn, fine linen apron for 17th C peasant wear. My goal is to emulate aprons worn in tavern scenes like this. Mine ended up 32″ wide by 35.5″ long with 3/16″ hems. It’s stroke-gathered into a 13″ waistband and ties with cotton twill tape.
