Jean Hunnisett’s hip pad, View F 1630-40, from Period Costumes for Stage and Screen 1500-1800. In cotton broadcloth with a couple graded layers of cotton batting. It’s quilted with tiny knots sewn every two inches. The pattern was adjusted to allow for a gap at center front, to accommodate longer bodices. I find this more flattering as well.
