Laughing Moon’s Bell Shaped Hoop, 1850s – 1870s, view A in pattern #112. In cotton sateen and plastic coated hoop wire.
The top channels were left empty. And as you can see, it’s a very modest hoop: only 76″ in circumference. It works quite well under my 1860s cotton calico. But I admit to having hoop envy of some of the larger ones on the market.
