This antique frame was recovered in a pale blue silk tafetta. Truly Victorian’s parasol pattern was very helpful since I’d lost the original cover. However it’s quite a hassel to fit a parasol. After a couple mockups, and some adjustments in the final fabric, I decided “good enough.” I also discovered that after being stored for any amount of time, the tafetta wrinkles. As a side note, it’s surprisingly easy to iron a parasol.
