This skirt was made for a Wallace & Gromit themed picnic. Though I try not to sew for deadlines, an exception was made in this case. Aaron and I are big fans. Plus anything 1950s-60s would work (the more ridiculous the better). Simplicity 8458, a simple circle skirt with a giant pocket, was certainly doable. And I already had some repro feedsack quilting cotton in the stash. It was tricky to find the perfect sweater to pair with this floral print, but I got one at Unique Vintage that seemed close enough.
